Terms of Service

Welcome to Image Upscaler Online (imageupscaleronline.com). By using the site you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language on purpose — please read them, they're short.

1. The Service

Image Upscaler Online is a browser-based tool that enlarges images (JPG, PNG, WebP up to 10 MB) up to 4× using AI. A free daily quota is available with no account and no watermark; optional paid credit packs unlock additional usage. We may change, limit, or discontinue the service at any time.

2. Accounts

You do not need an account for free usage. If you create one (via email or Google/GitHub sign-in), you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Your Content

• You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the upscaled results. We claim no ownership over either.
• You may use upscaled images for personal or commercial purposes, provided you have the necessary rights to the original image.
• You are responsible for the images you upload. Only upload images you own or are permitted to use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or depicts child sexual abuse material (which we treat with zero tolerance);
• upload images of people to harass, defame, or deceive (for example, creating misleading "enhanced" evidence);
• bypass, probe, or overload our abuse protections, rate limits, or infrastructure, including via bots or automated scripts;
• resell or repackage the service itself as your own API or product.

We may block traffic or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. AI Output

Upscaling is performed by an AI model that reconstructs detail. Results are generated automatically and may occasionally contain artifacts or inaccuracies — especially on faces and text. The output is provided for you to review; don't rely on it as a faithful forensic reproduction of the original.

6. Credits, Payments, and Refunds

• Paid credit packs are one-time purchases processed by Creem, our payment provider and merchant of record. Prices are shown at checkout.
• Credits are consumed per upscale. If a job fails on our side, the deducted credits are returned to your balance.
• Credits are tied to your account and are non-transferable.
• If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us at the email below and we will make it right; refunds for unused credits are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the payment provider's policies.

7. No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, imageupscaleronline.com and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $10 if you have paid nothing.

9. Privacy

How we handle your images and data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: images are processed and discarded, never stored permanently or used for training.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision; continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
